A week in the life of .... me
What is a typical week like in MY life???
Is it some R&R... sunshine... housework....a walk in the woods...a swim in the ocean...dinner and a movie.....lunch with friends....long phone/video calls with my family(because we do live just a small distance away...lol)... finishing my BSN....
None of the above for now... Try WORKING...yes.. this has been a week at work.....so many babies...so much fun.

Supasal is back!
How time flies! I am way behind...so a catch-up is in order...I had planned a Birthday Tribute to Rich...
What is so important about V-Day? Not the romance ,flowers and chocolate....
Valentine's Day comes and goes for me but not without remembering Rich's Birthday... He became his Mom's little Valentine some years ago...He happened to arrive on V-Day!
I first met Rich in England...I remember waiting at the 2nd bus stop on the way to work...We usually got there about 0715..Wendy and I worked at the same place..HM Royal Navy at Chatham Dockyard. Wendy would point across the road and wave...then she told me that that's where the missionaries lived. Every work morning we would wave hello to the faces smiling at us from the window....
Then Mum invited the Missionaries (Rich was one of them) to have dinner with us. We had eaten pizza when we lived in Terhan but there was no where to eat Pizza in England (McDonalds had just opened in London (late 70's) Mum had looked into it and made her very own pizza.(McDonald's finally arrived in Brighton in 1984)
The next time I saw Rich was when he came over to UK after his and Wendy's wedding(dec. 1978) in January 1979....He has become the bestest Brother-in-Law ever....

Heidi went back to VA today
Heidi has been home for a visit this last fortnight...It has been fun.. and sad.. Heidi is in a difficult place right now.. She wants to be free of my financial support.. and she should be... she is 25 years old...her career chose her... and it has been slow to take off.. Finally, this last year it has leap-frogged! Heidi has been a working student at the 3-day eventing barn of Phyllis Dawson ( www.windchase.com) Now, Heidi is making plans for her return to Colorado this Summer. She is excited to be looking at opportunities here to give riding lessons and train horses...and somewhere to live.. While Heidi was here we dined at one of her favourite places.. the RED ROBIN..

Every time I order I think I should try something different! It doesn't happen.. Heidi and I both love the Bonzai Burger...and vary it with the chicken version every so often! I will also opt for the fish and chips... but then I have to go back sooner to have the bonzai ... I miss it so much!!! I remember Uncle Sam's in Brighton had a Hawiian burger on the menu...I loved that one so much too!!.. wonder if Uncle Sam's is still there? Heidi and I had just come the Sprint store having had our new phones programmed...here is Heidi doing what everyone does with their phones while waiting for their order to arrive,right???
I had to change cell phone carriers from Qwest to Sprint. Qwest had contracted with Verizon last year ...Verizon does not work well at all in my home and as I don't have a land line anymore my cell HAD to work...Qwest was using the sprint pathways and now we have phones and a plan that does it all... GPS,TV, unlimited text (around the world) internet..camera, video.. am I spoilt? I just became what is now known as a crackberry!!

With Heidi here Bailey was happy to not be alone at night...and I went to work as usual...and Heidi lounged around, cleaned house , visited friends ...rode horses and as usual we both went to Wal-Mart!!
Heidi texted me when she arrived at Dulles Airport ..she said she misses her cat already.... and that's how it should be...
